Silverado Technologies acquired Genger & Associates in 2004. Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, the company designs and builds reliable network infrastructure under the banner of “We Do IT Right.” This approach has won the organization a number of awards, including 2002 Best Small Business in Tucson from Inside Tucson Business.

President Gene Hechler is a 26-year veteran of the computer business. Hechler started with Texas Instruments, followed by MicroAge (vice president of sales and marketing, MicroAge Solutions; vice president, Advanced Systems Division), Symmetry Software (president) and Sprint (national channel sales manager). Hechler holds a B.S. in Marketing, attended graduate school at the University of Houston, and participated in the President’s and Owner’s Class at Harvard University.
